He is survived by: his former wife Juanita Buchanan; his wife Anita Buchanan (Smith); his children, Tina Buchanan (Alfred Well), Alisa Buchanan and Ronald Buchanan (Monica); his stepchildren, DeAndre Smith (Lok Deng), London Cropp-Smith (Kelsie Gould) and LaToya Cropp-Smith; his grandchildren, Seandrea Buchanan, Rahsean Jenkins, Seantrel Jenkins, Michael Caridine, Andrew Buchanan, Sirreginald Lyke, Demarius Rushing, Tiosheon Rushing, Clasean Stallworth, Treseanae Robinson, Tisean Buchanan, Deshawn Burke, Kalona Burke, Rontazah Buchanan, Ronshalay Buchanan, Jaheim Settles, Royal Buchanan, Ronaziah Buchanan, Zavion Cowell, Alaysia Outlaw, Sergio Buchanan, Shamara Buchanan and LaRontez Buchanan; his stepgrandchildren, DeCelion Smith, DeMonie Smith, Maiya Brown, DeAndre Smith Jr., Demetrious Smith, Dvemeir Smith, Damu Smith and Niko Cropp-Smith; and his siblings, Donald Cheaton Sr., Lillian Austin, Leslie Buchanan Jr., Lee Artis Buchanan, Loretta Buchanan Gates, Harmon Buchanan and Glenda Echos Barker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family requests those attending the visitation and service to wear a mask and maintain social distance.
