He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Steele and Alene Steele; and his sister Meredith Kaldenberg. He is survived by: his wife Jo Cron; his children, Doug Steele (Lynette) and Teri King (Jerry); his grandchildren, Erin Steele, Tyler Steele and Cody West; and his brother-in-law Wendell Kaldenberg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
