It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wayne Lewis of Anita, Iowa, born in Elliott, Iowa, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Joseph and Desda Ruth Lewis (Winterstein); his wife Mary B. Yokom; his son Richard Harold Lewis; his granddaughters, Tiffany Leann and Tina Louise Wilcox; and his sisters, Phyllis Caldwell and Marilyn Clawson.
He is survived by : his children, Charlotte Allgaier (Alan) of Sandy, Utah and Randall Lewis (Melaine) of Anita; his grandchildren, Richard Harold Lewis, Jr., Chad Wilcox, Sam Green, Bobbi Jo Owens, Sadie Velasquez, Sierra Lewis-Gay, Shelby Rodenberg and Marissa Rodenberg; and his siblings, Barbara Mitchell, Ruth Larkin, Debbie Ellis and David Larkin. He is also survived by five great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters.
The family requests memorials be given to the American Lung Association.
