With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip Plumer of Anita, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Ferdinand and Bernice Marie Plumer (Osler); his wives, Nora Jane McGee and Helen Olson; and his siblings, Bernard, Paul Plumer and Nancy Smith.

He is survived by : his daughter Phylis Leary of Anita, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jacob Leary (Kara) of Council Bluffs and Michelene Leary of Walnut, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Riley, Roary and Elizabeth Leary; his stepchildren, Kevin Olson of Corning, Iowa and Brenda McElwain (John) of Villisca, Iowa; his stepgrandchildren, Rachael McElwain of Florida, Stacie Sinai (Christian) of Portland, Oregon, Sarah Williams (Justin) of Kansas City, Kansas and Andy Olson (Suzy) of Corning, Iowa; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaden, Avin, Colten, Ilah, Caleb Williams, Olivia and Millie Olson; and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Smith of Bellevue, Nebraska and Marlis Plumer of Medford, Oregon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

A reception was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center (701 7th St, Corning, IA 50841).
