He was predeceased by : his father John Cassell; and his brother-in-law John Dupont. He is survived by : his mother Rosemary Cassell (Fay); his wife DyAnne Cassell of Anita, IA; his children, Sara Nolta (Sam), Jennifer Cassell, Aimee Nichols (Terry), Christa Wessling (Trevor), John Cassell and Michael Hagen; and his sisters, Melanie Cockerham (Gary), Mona Calhoun, Joanie Cassell, Colleen Rodriguez (Ernesto) and Susan Steckbauer (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
