He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jessen and Elsie Jessen (Andersen); his former wife Dixie Sheumaker; his son John Jessen; his brother Gailyn; and his sister-in-law Georgia Jessen.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Dorsey; his daughters, LeAnn Josephsen (Allen), Bobbi Poirier (Chuck) and Melissa Appenzeller; his stepsons, Clint Dorsey and Lesile Dorsey (Ronda); and his siblings, Evelyn McAfee (Ray), Irene Nelson (Gary) and Ron Jessen (Michelle). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
