He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester and Elaine; his stepfather Robert Moye; his brothers, Ken, Jack and Billy; his son Kirk Mallory; and his grandson Eric Bertelsen.

He is survived by : his wife Merrie; his siblings, James and Rosemary; and his children, Kellie Keele (David), Elizabeth Avilla (Douglas) and J. Douglas Mallory (Geri). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and countless cousins and friends.
