She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Murphy and Frances Murphy (Voss); her husband Richard Lee Peterson of Anita; and her siblings, Martha Huffman (Mikey), Mary Ellen Miller, Caroline Fairfield and Joseph Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Peterson-Smith (Scott) of Boone Iowa, Brian Peterson (Sandy) of Fairfield and Bruce Peterson of Anita Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Anita Library, Evergreen Cemetery, or the United Methodist Church in Anita in memory of Anne.
