With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dalton Christoffersen of Andrew, Iowa, born in Harlan, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2024 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Christoffersen and Anna Christoffersen (Christensen); his son Rodney Eugene Christoffersen; his siblings, Emery Christoffersen and Darlene Hansen; his granddaughter Laura Turner; his brother-in-law Donald Lee; his brothers, Robert Osbahr (Sally) and Kenneth Osbahr (Faye); and also, Harold and Irene Osbahr.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Christoffersen of Atlantic; his children, Calla Johnson (Todd) of Elk Horn, Randy Christoffersen (Jodi) of Atlantic, Terri Turner (Bruce) of Hortonville, WI, Lori Robertson of Amana and Ricky Christoffersen (Susan) of Atlantic; his grandson Jason Jensen (Tammy); his children, Hannah, Mason of Elk Horn and Scott Jensen (Amber); his grandchildren, Olivia and Evan of Marne; his children, Brett Johnson (Madison) of Des Moines, Eric Christoffersen (Rachel) of Firestone, CO, Tyler Christoffersen (Madison) of Waukee, Rachel Stankevitz of Green Bay, WI and Travis Robertson (Kirstin); his grandchildren, Keighan, Rory and Kinnick of Council Bluffs; his daughter Amanda Thompson (Rich); his grandchildren, Ariyah and Lilah of North Liberty; his daughter Sara Strouth (Brad); his grandchildren, Macy and Drew of Atlantic; his son Justin Sorensen (Megan); his grandsons, William, Timothy and Benjamin of Slater; his sister Ardyce Lee of Westminster, CO; and his sister-in-law Ruby Christoffersen of Kimballton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
