He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Norton and Jessie Norton (Hurt); his son Jay Nathan; his grandson Chase Jeffrey Norton; his brothers, Wilfred (Buddy) and Allen Norton; his sister-in-law Clarice Norton; his nephews, Douglas McNamara and Mitchell Norton; and his brothers-in-law, Louis and James Wunder.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wunder; his son Jeffrey; his grandchildren, Nathan Norton and Alissa Lahay-Norton; his siblings-in-law, Thomas Wunder (Joyce), William Wunder (Louise), John Wunder (Judy), Bev Wunder and Vivian Norton; and his nieces and nephews, Eric Norton (Marguerite Eilers), TJ Norton (Tera), Chad Norton, Wendy Capron (John), Kimberly McNamara (Alice) and Joni Oltmanns (Scott).
Due to the current health pandemic, a Mass of Christian Burial with a celebration following will be held in the spring of 2021.
