With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Lee Bertling of Anamosa, Iowa, who passed away on February 9, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Mary Etten and Greg Carl; and her parents, Melvin Carl and Alice Carl (Shover). She is survived by: her children, Tammy Walkner (Mark), Solon, Shelly Huber (Sam), Dennis Bertling (Bobbi McCoy) and Kathy Joiner (Kevin) of Lincoln, AL; her sisters, Darla Watson, Marcia Fiser, Denise Petrick and Diane Korte; and her sister-in-law Julie Vasek. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
