It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Stanley Petersen of Anamosa, Iowa, born in Bloomington, Minnesota, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Petersen and Birdie Petersen (Schoumaker); his sister Marian; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Furey and Jerry Matthews.
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Patricia Nelson (David) of Farmington, MN, Craig (Sabrina) of Ivins, UT, Christine Marcus (Mike) and Shannon Anderson (Jason); and his siblings, Kenny (Marlys), Dennis (Mary Jo) and Janice Matthews. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, one great grandson.
