He is survived by: his children, Lorene Lent (Tom) of Anamosa and Alan Weers (Ann) of Anamosa; his grandchildren, Aaron Weers, Caitlin Weers (David Gregory), Elleni Huerter (Rory) and Thano Karaboitis; his sister Gloria Byrne of Anamosa; and his wife Nancy Barnes.
