It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Huerter (Anamosa, Iowa), who passed away on October 14, 2018, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Thomas (Neita); and his siblings, Henrietta Huerter, Agnes Hutfles, Joe, Henry, Lawrence, Vincent, Ambrose, Ray, Adrian and Elmer.
He is survived by: his daughter Malinda Engelbart (Steve); his grandchildren, Heath (Pam), Thomas (Chelsie), Jennifer Tarter (Andy), Matthew, Stephanie Wendt (Sam) and Katie Schaefer (Lucas); his great grandchildren, Greg, Tom, Colton, Athena, Rachael, Maggie, Isaac, T. J., Olivia, Adeliyn, Joel and Aubrey; his great great grandchildren, Ella and William; his parents, Jacob Kongs and Margaret Kongs; and his spouse Neita Meeks.
