He was predeceased by: his wife Diane; his brother Edwin Hart; his sister-in-law Bonnie Hart; and his parents, Charles Hart and Elizabeth Newlin Hart.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Hart (Angela Daywitt) of Cedar Rapids, Sandy Hart of Cedar Rapids, Kevin Hart (Judy McLain) of Cedar Rapids and Greg Hart (Paula); his siblings, David Hart (Marilyn), Mary Taylor (Larry Pernicka), Kim Hart (Teresa) and Billy Hart; his sister-in-law Lois Hart; and his aunt Lois Holland. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
