She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Giese and Augusta Giese (Dohrmund); her husband Paul A. Stoelk; and her siblings, Arthur, Lee, Harris, Elwood and Viola.

She is survived by: her daughter Barb Loy (Miles) of Wyoming; her grandson Brian Loy (Laura) of Wyoming; her daughter Dr. Kristy Loy (Jill) of Oregon; and her half-siblings, Nancy Hammerich of Wilton, Linda Zirmiller of Missouri and Kenny Lincoln (Sharon) of Wilton.

Memorials may be directed to her family in her honor.

“My mother in-law Marjorie Jorgensen and I sat with Hilda in church for years, She was quite a character. Hilda and Marjorie used to go to Village-Inn all the time, when Marjorie wasn't able to go any more, she asked Hilda to bring her crackers ( which of course was a Joke between the too ). Marjorie passed in 2019 Hilda came to the visitation and gave me a package of crackers. My love and prayers go out to your family. Vonnie & Craig Jorgensen”
