The memory of Helen Lorene Nassif of Anamosa, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2024 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Nick Sr.; her son Nick Jr.; her parents, Soloman Boalbey (Rose Ayoub Joe) and Rose Boalbey; her siblings, Tofake, Ellis, John, Joseph, Richard Boalbey, Marie Homsey, Lutefa Malooley and Edna Parker; her granddaughter Angela Nassif; her son-in-law Jerry Paterson; and her grandson-in-law Troy Feldpouch.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Lauterbach (Dennis) of Anamosa, Steven Nassif of Anamosa and Brian Nassif (Julie) of Anamosa; and her grandchildren, Danielle Woerth (Brian) of Ames, Cassie Marks (Joel), Janelle Reule (Korey) of Marion, Alycia Maxwell (Tom) of Central City, Chelsea Edwards (Brent) of Waukee, Mike Nassif (Jill) of Cedar Rapids and Cody Lauterbach (Lisa) of St. Louis, MO.. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She and her neighbors, friends and family started "garage visits at Lorry's house" during covid that never stopped.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Jones Regional Medical Center.
