It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Walter Calloway (Anamosa, Iowa), born in Monmouth, Iowa, who passed away on March 7, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Calloway and Mara Calloway (Shirk); his wife Vivian Jean Christiansen; his half-brother James Holmes; his sisters, Vivian Moran, Maxine Von Spreecken and Marilyn Eggers; and his children-in-law, Mark and Lynn.
He is survived by: his children, Gerri Mead and Michael Calloway; his grandchildren, Chad Mead (Braden), Nicholas Mead (Nicole), Travis Calloway and Mikayla Calloway; his great grandchildren, Dillon Mead (Saskia) and Jameson Mead; and his sister Carol Matthews.
