Edward Redmond Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Redmond of Anamosa, Iowa, who passed away on December 14, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Redmond and Anna Redmond (Dietiker); his wife Alice Dirks; his siblings, Loretta Tuttle, Lucille Poppe, Mary Picray, Agnes Still, Elizabeth Ash, Joan Deuker, Rita Chapman, John, Earl, Gene and George (Buzz); his granddaughter Jaci Mills; and his great grandchild Kia Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Rosann Hurt (Brian), Thomas Redmond (Sonia), Maureen Walterhouse (Don) and Denise Smith (Gregg); his grandchildren, Jennifer Saxon (Josh), Kelly Starr, Mikka Mills, Tasha Tatara (Dan), Alannah Swenka (Ryan), Jacob Walterhouse, Chevy Smith (Becky), Kacia Hughett (Jordan), Indy, Nike and Navy Smith; his great grandchild Noah Saxon; his grandchildren, Bastian Starr, Lyla, Owen, Bella Smith, Aliyah and Reese Hughett; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Hurt (Jenny), Nate Hurt and Rhiannon Walker (Waylon); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Wyatt, Ayla Walker, Riley, Emmalynn and Dawson Hurt; and his siblings, Barbara Martin and Robert Redmond. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
