He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; and his cousin Gladys Wakely. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Holak (Hugh), Greg, Daniel (Michelle) and Mark (Lynette); his grandchildren, Sgt. Anna Holak (David Reaves), Jason (Charlotte), Melissa (Jay), James and Spc; his great grandchildren, Cameron and Baylee; his stepgrandchildren, Raylyn and Michael; and his brothers, Wes Novak and Jim Hardy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the First Free Church, 3280 South 84th Street, Lincoln, NE 68506.
