He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Eiben and Louis Eiben; and his siblings, Robert, Paul Eiben and Donna Eiben.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Michels of Anamosa; his daughters, Patty Griggs (Dan) and Sue Eiben; his grandsons, Adam (Beth), Ben (Chanda) and Chad (Sam); his great grandchildren, Parker, Charlotte and Andrew Griggs; his sister-in-law Delores Grulkey; and his close friends, Garry, Carol Slife and JoAnn Russell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; special daughter.
A memorial fund has been established in Don's memory.
