He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dorman and Vera Dorman (Reynolds). He is survived by: his wife Sue Dorman (Rexroat) of Anamosa; his children, Steven Dorman (Melissa) of Denton, Christopher Dorman of Isabella, Minnesota, Molli Hopfensperger of Anamosa, Jake Hopfensperger of Big Sky, Montana and Katie Hopfensperger (Brandon) of Lisbon; his grandchildren, Katrina Mason, Erika Jobson (Josh), Patrick Dorman (Candace), Derek Giesking (Kialy), Ryan Dorman (Eliza), Pheonix Volkenant, Blakely Boge, Coralee Hurla and Margot Hopfensperger; his sister Maureen Wilson of Urbandale; his close friend Gail Johnston of Monticello; and his caregivers, Team, McKenna, Maddie, Margaret and Mackenzie. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
