With solemn reverence, we commemorate Clara Guynn of Anamosa, Iowa, born in Luxemburg, Iowa, whose life came to an end on April 18, 2024 at the age of 100, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Meier and Rosalia Meier (Brunsman); her husband Roy; and her siblings, Victor, Othmar, Edward Meier, Agnes Youngblut and Marie Rottinghaus.

She is survived by: her children, Rosetta Hannen (Steve) of Central City and Louis Guynn of Mount Auburn; her granddaughters, Allison O'Grady (John) and Lindsey Ungs (Karl); her stepgrandchildren, Sondra Cue and Jacob Guynn; and her sister Ann Bussmann of Spring Valley, MN.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Porte City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family Clara Rita (Meier) Guynn, 100, of Anamosa, formerly of La Porte City, her farm outside Mount Auburn, Eagle Center, and Luxemburg, IA, died Thursday, April 18, 2024, after a long, full life.
