She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford Grassfield and Mildred Grassfield (Edwards); and her sisters, Sharon and Patricia. She is survived by: her sons, James Payton (Sherly) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Rick Payton of Rochester, MN, Dan Payton of Anamosa, IA and Thomas Payton (Cindy) of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many loving extended family.
