With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allen Ahrens in Anamosa, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 15, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Ahrens and Hazel Ahrens (Dahl). He is survived by: his wife Becky; his children, Sandi De Souza (Anthony), Brenda Boots (Darin) and Brian Ahrens (Karen); his grandchildren, Tyler, Emily Ahrens, Zoey and Isabella Boots; and his sister Sally Brown (Max).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Vernon or the ALS Association.
