Woody Hart Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2024, at the age of 85, Woody Hart (Ames, Iowa), born in Sioux City, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Woody Hart to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Charles Hart and Ida Caroline Hart (Cox); his stepparents, York Hart and Clarence D. Young; his brother Daniel Young; and his granddaughter Emily Hart.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Louise Fues-Ryan; his sons, Curt Hart, Chris Ryan, Mike Ryan and Sean Ryan; his grandchildren, Angela Meyers, Brian Myers, Stephanie Efstratiou, Jamie Ryan, Ian Ryan, Catie Ryan, Zoe Ellis and Ashley Cramer; and his brothers, David Young and Charles Young. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Samaritan Fund at Ascension Lutheran Church or to the Department of Entomology, Texas A&M University.
