He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richard Sr. and Irene Cole (Clark). He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Veach; his children, William Richard Cole III (Gayle) of Cedar Rapids, Ann Shuey (Steve) of Ames and Douglas Cole (Dawn) of Ames; his siblings, Mike Cole (Carole), Kathy Mixdorf (Jay) and Larry Cole (Donna); and his aunt JoAnn Birchard (Leo). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to St Cecilia Catholic Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
