We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2023, at the age of 94, William O. Reece (Ames, Iowa), born in Ledyard, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ovedia Reece and Edward Reece; his wife Shirley Ann Bruckner; and his children, Mary Kay Truckenmiller (Steve) of Ames, Kathy Farstad (Jim) of Minneapolis, Barbara Benn (Jim) of Ames, Sara Reece (Jim Denny) of Ames, Anna Herrick (Rob) of Cleveland Ohio, Susan Randall (Mike) and William Omar Reece II (Heather) of Hudson, Wisconsin.. He was also cherished by 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made in William's name to the Israel Family Hospice House or St. Cecilia Catholic Church, both in Ames.
