He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Barquist (Mannes) of Ames, IA; his daughters, Kris Sturm of Waukee, IA and Kim Hogelucht of San Diego, CA; his stepchildren, Jolene Pitkin (Dennis) of Clear Lake, IA, Julie Rogers of Valley Center, KS and Brian Thompson of Iowa City, IA; his grandchildren, Alex, Aaron Sturm of Waukee, IA, Olivia, Hans, Lars Hogelucht of San Diego, CA, Samantha Pitkin, Jessica Sorensen (Andrew) of Clear Lake, IA, Emma, Addison Rogers of Valley Center, KS and Jacob Thompson of Iowa City, IA; and his great grandchildren, Hayden and Tucker Sorensen of Clear Lake, IA..
