It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Carlson (Ames, Iowa), who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Carlson and Pearl Carlson; and his brothers, Wesley, Donald and Rodney.
He is survived by: his wife Winnie Lee Ball; his children, Dawn Marsh (Tim), Deean Clancy and Michael Carlson (Mary); his grandchildren, Anne, Ellen, Peter, Kelly, Michala, Will and Jackson; his great grandchildren, Sloane, Martha and Jack; and his sister Pearlann Tabor (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to our concern for the coronavirus pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ames Public Library at 515 Douglas Avenue, Ames, Iowa 50010.
