He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Wise and Florence Wise (Thiele); his grandsons, Jacob and William Wise; and his sisters, Serena McNamara and Shirley Freed.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Bennett of Ames; his children, Jennifer Dolan (Mark) of Carver, MN, David Wise (Allison) of Council Bluffs and Stephen Wise (Amy) of Centennial, CO; and his grandchildren, Natalie Dolan, Lindsey Dolan, Jessica Dolan, Henry Wise, Samuel Wise, Owen Wise, Riley Wise and Willow Wise. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill's name may be directed to Christ Community Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
