He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Rice and Isabelle Rice. He is survived by: his wife Joan Cannon; his children, Christen Prueger (John), Berrett Rice (Tina), Shannon Taylor (Sean) and Jeremy Rice (Sarah); and his siblings, Jan Phillips and Stephen Rice. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (2524 Hoover Ave, Ames, IA 50010). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
