She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eldred Loop and Elizabeth Loop (Hengel); her husband Allan Conroy Helland; her children, Brian Helland of Ames, Karen Ratzel (Allan) of Reedsburg Wisconsin and Shirley Bogenrief (Rodney) of Lafayette Louisiana; her grandchildren, Linda, Brenda, Daniel Bogenrief of Lafayette, LA, Valerie Mckernan (Mike Koch) of Gilbert, IA, Rachael Koehler (Corey) of Toledo, IA, Curtis Pierson of Winterset, IA and Skyla Murrow (Zach) of Garden Grove, IA; her great grandchildren, Emma, Boden, Jacob, Jamie, Kaedan, Shayleigh, Evoleht, Noah, Ashlynn, Sawyer, Preston and Witten; her sister Kathryn Thompson of Fairmont, MN; her nephews, Scott (Peggy), Russ (Mindy), John (Charlene), Mike and Jamie; and her niece Laurie Forshee (Jim) of Fairmont, MN. She was also cherished by her 3 children.
