He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Butler and Ilo Butler (Nelson); and his son-in-law Steve Sutter. He is survived by: his wife Donna Butler; his children, Craig Butler (Becky) of Ames, Chris Butler of Minneapolis, MN, Cyndi Sutter of Overland Park, KS and Connie Cook (Brian); and his grandchild Ryan Sutter (Kiley).

Memorials may be directed to Israel Family Hospice.
