We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2020, at the age of 95, Thomas McElherne in Ames, Iowa, born in Faribault, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McElherne and Regina McElherne (Brauer); his former wife Bonnie Clauson; and his brothers, James and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Ryerson; his friend Tommy; his children, Jennifer Voorhees, James McElherne, Janice Froning of Ogden, Robert Ryerson of Ames, Jean Ryerson of Kansas City, Michael Ryerson and Marlene Veland of Waynesboro; and his sister-in-law Nancy Clauson Gephardt of Long Island.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Northminster Presbyterian Church of Ames, Iowa.
