He is survived by: his sons, Tom Hinders (Cassandra) of Ames, Mike Hinders (Lori) of Ames, Mark Hinders (Sally) of Hayden Lake and Matthew Hinders (Haley) of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Kyle, Adam, Alex (Jaqueline), Casey, Gabriel, Martin, Mason and Mavrick; and his great grandchildren, Natelyn and Wesley.
He served as the President of the Big Horn Sheep Foundation.
