It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Kevin Huisman of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles Huisman; his parents-in-law, Keith and Ellen Landon; and his brothers-in-law, Monty Hemphill and Larry Beckett.
He is survived by: his mother Joyce Huisman of Ames; his wife Julie; his children, Kevin Huisman of Ames, Melissa Huisman of Austin and Karina Huisman Kendall of Manning, Iowa.; his grandchild Bianca Anne McConkey of Ogden, Iowa.; his son-in-law Mark Kendall; his daughter Ellen Kathy-Marie Kendall; his sister Linda; his brother-in-law Tom Thomas of Ames; his brother Ted; his nephew Nick Huisman of State Center; his sister Laura; and his nephew Grant Beckett of Everett, Washington..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church or Youth and Shelter Services.
