Thomas E. Walsh Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2024, at the age of 94, Thomas E. Walsh of Ames, Iowa, born in Springfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Thomas leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Walsh and Gladys Walsh; his brothers, Bill and Bob; and his daughter Perin.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Ann Stiles (Stevie); his son Thomas Jr. of Ames, Iowa; and his siblings, Jim of Springfield, Ohio and Nancy of Lindon, Michigan.. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and their children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's name may be directed to Iowa State University Foundation supporting scholarships for first generation students enrolled in Hospitality Management for 2024-2025 school year.
