We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2022, at the age of 74, Susan Elaine Petersen of Ames, Iowa, born in Clarinda, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Peterson and Dorothy Peterson (Bowman). She is survived by: her husband Ken Petersen of Lawrence, KS; her children, Eric Petersen (Kim) of Eudora, KS and Emily Moss (Michael) of Leawood, KS; her grandchildren, Maren, Whitney, Chase Moss and Mason Petersen; and her brothers, Jim Raney (LaDonna) of Red Oak, IA and Bob Peterson (Lynn) of Okoboji, IA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
