He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Bohlen and Neva Bohlen (Dean); his siblings, Barbara Hanson and Forrest Bohlen; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Hanson, Victor Scopel and Steve Parris; and his grandchildren, Hannah and Gabriel.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his daughter Stephanie; his son-in-law Jared Van Cleave; his son Ryan; his daughter-in-law Dana Bohlen; his grandchildren, Brenna, Lauren, Abby Van Cleave, Jacob, Emily and Maren Bohlen; his siblings, Debra Scopel and Brad Bohlen (Maureen); and his siblings-in-law, Becky Bohlen, Jan Parris and Ken Chubb (Pat). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to Cornerstone Church to support those in need of professional counseling; a memorial has been set up in Steve's name.
