It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandy Horton of Ames, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Hart and Reba Blagg Hart; her sister Mary; her siblings-in-law, Cornelius Hutton and Eleanor Smith; and her parents-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Horton.

She is survived by: her husband Dick Horton of Ames; her son Jay Horton (Molly); her grandchildren, Charlie and Jaxon of San Antonio, TX; her daughter Lisa Snyder (Chad); her grandchildren, Britta and Brock of Ames; and her siblings, Sue Longnecker (Dean) of Johnston and Charles Hart (Buffy) of Ankeny. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
