He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father James H. Young of Ames; his children, Leah (Craig) of Pleasant Hill, Michael (Megan) of Grand Meadow and Matthew (Erin) of Grimes; his wife Deborah; his grandchildren, Camille, Elise Skinner, Coraline, Charles Young and Lillian Young; his siblings, James E. "Gene" (Marjorie) of Cedar Rapids, Karen Schultz of Des Moines and Peggy Mabuce (Brad); and his mother Mary D. Young (Oleson). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
William Roy Young, age 65, passed from this life Tuesday, July 28 as the result of Covid 19 complications.
