With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Clarence Moffitt (Ames, Iowa), born in Estherville, Iowa, who passed away on March 26, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Moffitt and Gladys Moffitt (Aylward); his son Randal Moffitt; his brother Bruce; his brother-in-law Jhon Sifert; and his nephews, Dallas and Moe Moffitt.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan Moffitt (Kimberly) of Ames, Rob Moffitt (Alyssa) of North Mankato, Rochelle Nickolay (Stefan) of Huxley, Dustin Moffitt (Ashley) of Nevada, Iowa and Chad Ayers (Tammy); his daughter-in-law April Moffitt; his grandchildren, Austin (Melissa), Tyler (Kayley), Paige, Connor, Shane, Willem, Emma, Duncan, Cooper, Chloe and Carson; his great grandchildren, Beckham and Samuel; his siblings, Jim (Carol), Paul (Shirley), Jerry (Becky), Steve (Dawn), Bryan (Ann) and Maureen Sifert; and his sister-in-law Mary Jane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Roger's honor to Grandon Funeral Home in Ames, Iowa and will be donated to the American Diabetes Association.
