It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert R. Samuelson of Ames, Iowa, born in Devils Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmar Samuelson and Eva Samuelson (Barr); his son John Samuelson; his grandson Jordan Ulicki; his sister Maureen Jacobson; and his brothers-in-law, Dick Fox and Joe Peltier.
He is survived by: his wife Janice J. Samuelson of Ames; his children, Mark Samuelson (Suzanne) of Omaha, Nebraska, Peggy Ulicki (Jerry) of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Jim Samuelson (Jane) of Minnetrista, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Jerod Ulicki (Kat), Jessica Samuelson and Janae Hewitt (Kyle); his stepgranddaughter Becky Smouse (Bryan); his siblings, Stan Samuelson (Carol) and Marge Fox; and his siblings-in-law, Norm Jacobson and Norma Peltier.
Everyone attending will need to wear a mask and will be screened for COVID when entering the building.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Friendship Ark, Mainstream Living or to the charity of your choice.
