He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ferguson and Gladys Ferguson (Grice); his wife Phyllis Wenell; his son Kerry Ferguson (Jennifer); and his brothers, Donald Ferguson, John Ferguson, Arnold Ferguson and Dale Ferguson.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Ferguson (Vicky) of Elmhurst; his grandchildren, Tanya Ferguson (Kirk Schultz), Stephanie Kilker (Jamey), Kyle Ferguson (Jenn), Kurtis Ferguson (Lauren), Katie Ferguson (John Fitton) and Rebecca Ferguson; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Ferguson, Kathy Ferguson and Yvonne Wenell. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Green Hills Healthcare Center, 2205 Green Hills Dr., Ames, IA 50014 in Robert Ferguson's name.
