It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Allen (Ames, Iowa), born in Glidden, Iowa, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Allen (Ferguson) and Arthur Allen; his wife Sherry; his daughter Christine Baxter; his son-in-law Mark Kerper; and his siblings, Charles Allen, Kathryn Messerly and Dorothy Cuvelier.
He is survived by: his sister Ruth Nicholls (Bob) of Newark, Delaware; his children, Karen Kerper, Marce Bruhn (Bill) and Steve Allen (Lisa); and his son-in-law Chuck Baxter (Wendy). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Due to COVID19, there will not be a funeral gathering at this time.
Memorials may be given to the Shriner's Children's Hospital or Food at First.
