He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Lind and Lillian Lind (Anderson); his wife Marjorie Eckhart; and his brother-in-law Dean Benshoff. He is survived by: his sisters, Dianne Eppert of Boone and Lori Wildeman (Arlen) of Boone; and his sister-in-law Ella Benshoff. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Marion Street United Methodist Church or the Ames Public Library.
