He is survived by: his wife Verdell Riedel of Ames; his son Ward Leek (Vickie) of Ames; his granddaughters, Jennifer Peterson and Melissa Serio; his great grandchildren, Carter and Dawson Peterson; and his siblings, Marlene Frambach (Richard) of Algona and Leroy Leeck (Shirley) of Avoca, WI..
In lieu of flowers my mom would prefer any memorials be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church Endowment Fund.
