Phyllis L. Soderstrum Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis L. Soderstrum of Ames, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Walker and Ella Walker (Halverson); her husband Lowell; and her grandson Brad Hermann. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Soderstrum (Karen) of Story City and Dianne Hermann (Gary) of Urbandale; and her siblings, John Walker (Janice) of Slater, Norma Jean Lem of Ames and Ruth Roberts of Urbandale. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Slater Historical Society or donor's choice.
