Paul Eness Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2020, at the age of 86, Paul Eness of Ames, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Eness and Gerene Eness (Peterson); his sister Janice Miller; and his nephew John Flaherty. He is survived by: his wife Margot Bannister; his children, Molly Eness (Tom Birkland), Dana Eness (Jason Wiese), Allison Eness (Mark Taylor), Daniel Eness (Natalie) and Jason Eness; his siblings, Linda Flaherty, Kirsten Barta (Clifford) and David Eness (Debi); his siblings-in-law, Jack Miller, Willa Kulhavy (Bannister) and Kay Philpot (Bannister); and his grandchildren, Oskar, Isaak Birkland, Sadie, Aidan Wiese, Lydia Heydlauff, Max, Grace, Ella, Sam Eness and Lucy Eness-Potter. He is also survived by his five children, he was always Paul, never Dad or Daddy.
When Parkinson's Disease came to visit and wouldn't leave, Paul delighted in singing, dancing and boxing with new friends he made at the wonderful Parkinson's Disease classes provided by Dr. Stegemoller and her kinesiology students.
